From canvas to skin

Tattooing is a natural extension of my art practice: creating something permanent on skin, instead of canvas. I love the connection and ritual of making art this way. It has become one of the most meaningful parts of my creative expression. 

I tattoo in the same place where I paint: my home studio. A calm, cozy space where you can fully relax. I prioritize taking time to create something meaningful and only start tattooing when I’m sure you love the design.

I work with both handpoke and machine tattoos. Each technique has its own look and energy. Below you’ll find what to expect and how they differ. Not sure which technique suits your idea best? Let's create together

Your session, step by step.

1) Arriving & settling in
You can get comfortable, have a coffee, tea or cacao, and ask any questions you have. I make sure you feel safe, inspired, and at ease from the moment you walk in.

2) Design check & placement
We go over the design, size, and placement together. If you want small tweaks (a bit smaller, more subtle, slightly adjusted), we do that first. Then we place the stencil and check everything in the mirror. Only when you are truly happy with the design, we start tattooing.

3) The session
You’re always welcome to take breaks. Some people like to chat, others prefer silence, both are completely fine. Handpoke sessions in particular can feel slower and more meditative, almost like a grounding moment.

4) Aftercare
Afterwards, I’ll explain exactly how to care for your tattoo so it heals beautifully. I always check-in how the tattoo is healing a few days after the session. And if you’re unsure about anything during healing, you can always message me.

Handpoke vs. machine: whats the difference?

Handpoke tattoos are created dot by dot, without a machine.

  • Vibe: calm, gentle, often a more meditative experience

  • Time: usually takes a little longer because it’s fully hand-made

  • Look: soft, organic, delicate: especially beautiful for fine lines and subtle details

  • Feeling: many people experience it as less painful, more steady and quiet

Machine tattoos are done with a constant, fast needle movement.

  • Vibe: efficient and quicker, but in my studio I make sure these sessions are still cozy and calm

  • Time: often takes less time for the same size, great if you prefer a faster session

  • Look: clean and consistent. Great for stronger contrast, shadow work, or larger areas

  • Feeling: the sound and vibration are a bit more present
